Reggae Artist Frankie Paul Dead At 52
Reggae icon Frankie Paul passed away at the University Hospital of West Indies (UHWI) last night shortly after 10.00PM, he was 52. According to his sister, Trisha Clarke (via the Jamaica Observer), Frankie Paul, born Paul Blake, had been suffering from kidney complications and was receiving dialysis two days per week.

Morgan Heritage – AVRAKEDABRA
Grammy Award winning reggae band, Morgan Heritage, will release their new album, AVRAKEDABRA, on Friday, May 19th on the Cool To Be Conscious Music Group label. Since the release of their debut album in 1994 (Miracles), Morgan Heritage released several successful albums, took a hiatus in 2009 to work on solo projects and regrouped for their 2012 European Tour followed by studio albums Here Comes The Kings (2013) and Strictly Roots (2015).

Mavado Gifted Acres of Land In The Gambia
“Pandemonium” is how Mavado described the atmosphere when he landed in The Republic of Gambia this week.
Gambians welcome me with love and respect, over the years the people have been waiting for me and here is my next home mama Africa. They want me to build my next mansion here so just look at me signing ? now a one bag a teeth when u see me ?.
Gambians have waited a long time for Mavado to perform in the West African nation. In his Instagram post, Mavado is seen signing documents for land gifted to him by Global Properties Gambia Limited to show their appreciation.
Mavado is scheduled to perform at Independence Stadium in Bakau, the Gambia, on Saturday 13 May.
