Dennis Emmanuel Brown OD, born February 1, is a reggae legend. During he prolific career, which began when he was eleven, Brown recorded more than 75 albums and was one of the major stars of lovers rock, a sub-genre of reggae. Bob Marley cited Brown as his favorite singer — dubbing him “The Crown Prince of Reggae”. Brown died July 1st in Kingston, Jamaica.
